Last week our kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd graders took a trip to ECHO to learn how to snowboard. It was an amazing opportunity to have a positive first experience snowboarding. This winter RES is teaming up with Burton Snowboards to pilot snowboarding in P.E. Scholars will begin learning how to snowboard inside during P.E. Thanks to an amazing donation form Burton, RES scholars will be able to take what they learn in P.E. class and apply it to the the slopes. At the end of our snowboarding unit scholars will get the opportunity to go snowboarding at Stowe Mt. Resort and Cochran's Ski Area.
