This week in P.E. we reviewed the 5 food groups and what they do for our bodies. The 5 food groups are Protein, Dairy, Grain, Fruits, and Vegetables. It's important to eat a balanced diet containing foods from each food group. Eat the rainbow and try to get as much color and variety in your diet as possible. Proteins build strong muscles, grains give you energy, dairy builds strong muscles, teeth, and bones, fruits & vegetables help you have shiny hair, healthy skin, sparking eyes, and digest foods.
