RES After School Swim Lessons

This school year (2018/19) there swim lessons offered at the Swimming Hole in Stowe.  Lessons will last for 6 weeks and occur on Mondays after school.  Students will leave RES via bus at 3:00pm and return to school at 6:15pm. The first session will begin on September 10th and end October 15th. Each child will get a 30 minute swim lesson followed by 60 minutes of free swim.  Lessons will be conducted by Red Cross WSI certified swim instructors and be overseen by a lifeguard.

This session we will have a capacity of 30 students.  There will be a second session in the spring to accommodate anyone who doesn’t get into the fall session. Registration will be determined by the order that you register.   Students will be grouped by their swim level 1/2 , 3/4 and level 5. Here is a breakdown of the different swim levels.  Our first lesson we will do a quick skills assessment and regroup kids if needed.

The cost of the lessons are $150 which covers the lessons and transportation to and from Stowe. I’ll send more info out about payment once the program is full.  Your child will be responsible to change into and out of their own swimsuit independently, and will need to bring a towel.  The Swimming Hole has private shower stalls with curtains plus bathroom stalls in locker rooms that children will use to change in privately.
