Join us on Wednesday, June 10th for the 2nd Annual Walk-A-Thon, Field Day, and BBQ. Proceeds from the walk-a-thon will go towards supporting RES Snow Motion Program and promoting physical activity at RES. The goal of the Snow Motion Program is promote lifetime fitness and increase opportunities for physical activity in and out of the school day by making skiing and snowboarding accessible to all scholars at RES.
Snow Motion is free to scholars and occurs during the school day to eliminate barriers created by lack of equipment, transportation, disability, and other factors.
* Every $10 raised sponsors a visit to Cochran’s Ski Area for an RES Scholar and every $40 raised pays for a season of skiing for an RES Scholar.
* Last winter 143 RES scholars participated in Snow Motion of which 51 were first time skiers and riders.
* Donations can be made by check or online. Checks can be sent to classroom teacher anytimeChecks can be made out to Richmond Elementary School Note: Walk-a-Thon
