Jeh Kulu visits RES to share West African music and dance during P.E. #RESVT #EDUVT #CESUVT

Last week Jeh Kulu visited RES to share West African music and dance during P.E. classes.  Jeh Kulu mean community and is a drum & music group out of Burlington VT.  Jeh Kulu has been working in schools throughout the world for the past 22 years.  Big thank you to Darcie Rankin for making this residency happen.  All of Darcie's hard work payed off, as RES scholars were provided  a wonderful cultural exchange of dance and music.  I would also like to thank Ishmael, Sidiki, Solo, and Hasan from Jeh Kulu for being such wonderful teachers. If you would like to learn more about Jeh Kulu please click on this Link for more info.

Now Mr. G needs to let his feet rest as he is a little tired from all of last weeks dancing.  Enjoy the rest of your vacation!

Mr. G
