This week 3rd & 4th grade scholars competed in round robin pillow polo tournament during P.E. class. Each class was divided into four teams with four players on each team. Every team played each team once in a 5 minute full court game. Today was the finals of our pillow polo tournament. A team winner from each class and a wildcard team competed to decide who would be the RES pillow polo champions.
The RES gym was rocking this morning in several tightly contested semifinals matches. The winners of the 3rd grad bracket from Mrs. Darby's class was the Hornets. They defeated the Mrs. Ankerson's Ice Penguins in an overtime shootout.
The 4th grade bracket had some nail biting action. As Mrs. Sennings's Warriors defeated Mrs. Erickson's Rainbow Fluffy Unicorns. Congratulations to all of the participants!
