Snow Motion Program at Cochran's Beginning in January for 3rd and 4th Graders #RESVT #CESUVT

Fridays, 11:30-2:00       4th Grade: 1/9, 1/23, 2/6, 2/20            3rd Grade: 1/16, 1/30, 2/13, 3/6

The Snow Motion Program at Cochran’s Ski Area will be beginning January 9th for 4th graders and January 16th for 3rd graders.  The purpose of this program is to promote lifetime fitness and to ensure that lifetime sports such as skiing and snowboarding are accessible to all RES scholars.  We will be eating at RES and a school bus will transporting scholars to Cochran's and back to RES.

To ensure there are no barriers to participation, The Snow Motion Program is free to all scholars.  All equipment will be provided (boots, skis/board, and helmets). If you have your own equipment, please drop it off at Cochran’s in the morning that your child will be attending. There will be a large sign and a designated equipment drop off area for RES outside at Cochran’s.  

This program is made possible by all of you who have supported our fundraising efforts with our Walk-A-Thon last spring and Mr. G’s Gymboree.  I feel very lucky to be working in such a passionate community.  I appreciate all of you very much.  We will also need many parent volunteers to ensure that this is a high quality program.  If you have questions or are interested in volunteering for any of the days, please contact Mr. G at brian.godfrey@cesuvt.org
