This month we are talking about grains in P.E class. Grains are one of the 5 food groups and is best known for giving your body energy. Some grains such as whole grains do a much better job of providing your body long lasting energy. Oatmeal, bread, rice, and pasta are all types of grains. For our younger scholars we call grains Go Foods in order to simplify the information that we discuss in class. Below is a project from a 2nd grader in Mrs. Robinson's class.
