This week in PE we continued our snowboarding unit. Scholars worked on heelside sideslipping and learning to shift their body weight from their toes to their heels and from one foot to the other. Sideslipping is sliding along the fall line of the slope. Scholars worked on pressing their boards onto their heelside edge to control their speed as they go down the hill. I was really impressed how quickly scholars picked up this skill.
