Today the entire 2nd grade class went to ECHO to learn how to snowboard and the science behind how a snowboard works. Thank you to Burton, ECHO, and Smugglers Notch for making this trip possible. It was a fantastic introduction to snowboarding for the 2nd graders. Learning to ride inside provides a safe and positive first experience for our young scholars. We will be having a snowboard unit in P.E. this year. At the end of our unit we will be going to Cochran's Ski Area at the end of our unit. Thanks to all of the wonderful parents and teachers for making this event happen.
