In Their Own Words


This week we are talking about the different types of sugars and what they do for our bodies.  Two scholars from Mrs. Cross's class are sharing what they learned with you.  Sugars give your body energy.  Fructose is fruit sugar, glucose is sugar found in vegetables/grains, lactose is found in milk, and sucrose is table sugar etc.
Glucose gives your body the most amount of energy for the longest period of time.
