Games

As educators we are always looking for new ways to keep kids engaged in learning while inspiring them to be active for life.  Throughout my career I've found many amazing games and would like to share them with you.  I teach in a K-4th Elementary School with around 300 students.  This past school year a colleague convinced me create opportunities for students to develop their own games.  It promotes creativity, literacy, autonomy, while getting kids invested in being physically active.  I handed out a Create a Game Template and let the kids take it from there.  The result was nearly 200 different unique games.  The games that you will find listed are either favorites of mine or games created by students in my P.E. class.  My goal is to add one new game a week.  If you have any games or ideas that you would like to share, please email me at  brian.godfrey@cesuvt.org
